2018 was BAD and here's why...

Image
This year was a real bummer! Not sure about you but for me I suffered so much stress and hopelessness through exams and putting pressure on myself to do well. Or even just the stress of typical teenage insecurity of friendships and my appearance. "What if it all goes wrong?" This became my eternal chant inside the back of my head for the majority of 2018. Somehow, I don't feel alone. Every year I feel. UGH! "It was worse than last year!" And I have a slump. How am I ever going to achieve my 2018 resolutions now? BUT... As I stated earlier, I'm not alone. And. Neither are you! Whilst researching for this post I decided it would be a bright idea to look up ' 2018 was a bad year' . Here's the results: Perhaps 2018 has not actually been a bad year. Shocking, I know! It's like seeing only Instagram models on your social media 24/7 - it impacts your ability to recognise beauty in normal people and even yourself. Looking mirror s...

My skincare routine!

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to go through my daily skincare routine, in case you weren’t aware I am an avid fan on skincare. I believe that it can completely turn your day around not only physically but also mentally!  So, first of all I have two face scrubs/washes. I use the clean and clear morning energy skin brightening daily facial scrub from Johnson and Johnson every morning as it actually wakes me up and makes me feel more energised and I feel I smell nice as well the scent is lemon. For nights I use the blackhead clearing daily scrub also from Johnson and Johnson, I have repurchased both these items many a time and I really like them because not only do they work they are also very inexpensive and last forever! You can get them for around £4-£6 and they both contain 150 ml, they are available in boots and Superdrug as well so, definitely accessible to anyone in the UK. I also use the advantage spot control treatment gel from Johnson and Johnson which I really...

Of course this provides a struggle for me at times especially the idea of conforming to societies' norms, and in a small community a free thinking person like myself can be overlooked as others prefer to keep up their reputation. But then again I am in high school and at this age a lot of people are going through phases and overall are in the same boat as me. All they want to do is find out exactly who they are, just like me and we all go through this journey in different ways. But why should I let others limit my potential?  Well, this is why I've started blogging. I love the idea of the world listening to my experiences and thoughts - clinging onto every word. Although in reality blogging keeps me busy and is truly exciting! I've always had a passion for writing, whether I'm good it or not I'm not quite sure but I am certain practise makes ...
